Minnie Mary Seadorf, daughter of Lewis and Mary Seadorf, was born in Climax Twp., Kalamazoo county, Michigan, Oct 12, 1869 and departed this life on Dec 29, 1937 at her home in Climax twp. On Aug 12, 1896 she was united in marriage to Elmer H. Pierce also of Climax, who survives. To this union was born four children, Mr. Russel E. Pierce of Battle Creek; Mrs. Lottie Bailey of South Climax; Mars. Kathleen Lepper, South Climax; and Mr. Ivan Pierce of Athens. One daughter Ada by a former marriage who passed away 4 years ago. Also she is survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one brother, M. Luey Seadorf and many other relatives and friends to whom she will be greatly missed.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2. p.m. at the Burk and Hoag Funeral home in Climax, Rev. Nagel of the Charlotte United Brethern Church officiating. Internment was made in the Carney Cemetery north east of Scotts.
