Carla A. Wisely Minier, 60, of Benton died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton with the Rev. Mark Minor officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic & Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, and after 10 a.m. Thursday until the funeral hour.
Carla was born in Herrin on Sept. 17, 1948, the daughter of Carl and Dorothy (Williams) Wisely.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, John Minier of Benton; two sons, Chad Minier and wife, Jennifer, of Waterloo, and Ryan Minier and Jessica of Ewing; two brothers, Allan Wisely and wife, Jean Anne of Centralia, and David Wisely and wife, Penny, of Benton; sister-in-law, Cathy Osika; the Love of her life, her grandchildren, Halle, Evan, Jordan, Jeraka and Jayla; nieces and nephews, Hilary, Jenna, Josh, Neshala, Nikki, Bria, Mallorie, Brittany, Laura, Jason, Clint, Karen, Kelly, Kyle, Miranda, Morgan, Adam and Alyssa; mother-in-law, Mildred Minier; sister-in-law, Donna Tryonis; sister-in-law, Debbie Moehn and husband, Mike; and brother-in-law, Phillip Minier and wife, Amy.
Carla was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Laird Wisely.
