(Obit-Times Leader 8/1/2009) Nadine F. (Anderson) Grumpelt, 55, of Hudson, passed away Wednesday at home. She is survived by her husband, Clifford S. Grumpelt; two sons, Aaron Andruscavage, Pittston, and Joseph Groblewski, Hudson; daughter Erica Andruscavage, of Maryland; a sister, Marilyn Zimmerman, of Hanover Township; and many cousins.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on Feb. 24, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Jeanine Anderson. She was a 1972 graduate of Hanover Area High School.
She recently was employed as a manager for the Brookstone Retail Store at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. She also worked for Laura Fashion as a seamstress and various other dress factories in the Wyoming Valley Area.
Nadine was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre, where she taught Bible school.
She was an avid supporter of SPCA, ASPCA and HSPCA.
She loved the music of KISS and AC/DC. Nadine enjoyed sewing and designing clothes.
She loved to help the less fortunate and was a caregiver to all.
She loved her family, including Buddy the Cat.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wilkes-Barre.
