Mrs. John Yarger

  Lizzsie (sic) Susan Catherine Christian
was born in Pottsville, Schuylkill
county, Penn. Nov. 19, 1847 and died at
Centralia, Kansas, at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Edward Armstrong,
Nov. 20, 1928.  She was married to
John Morrison Yarger of Monroe,
Mich. on the 12th of January, 1871.
To this union were born, Mary Marga-
ret Camilla Barrett of Beloit, Kansas,
Minnie Missouri Cogswell of Lillis,
Kans., Jessie Grace Armstrong and
Clyde Christian Yarger of Centralia,
John and William who died in infancy,
Olive Eujean who died at the age of
four years.  There are seventeen 
grand children and three great grand-
children who mourn the loss of the
mother and grandmother.
  Mr. and Mrs. Yarger made their home
in Monroe, Michigan, until October,
1888, when they moved to Kansas and
moved to a farm one mile northwest
of Centralia, where they lived until
the death of the husband and father in
1917.  Since that time Mrs. Yarger has
made her home with her children.  She
joined the church when a child, and on
coming to Centralia joined the Metho-
dist church.
  The funeral services were held at
the M. E. church Wednesday of last
week, conducted by Rev. L. C. Camp-
bell.  Interment in the Centralia cem-
etery.
