Charles Melvin Bush, 82, of Parsons, died at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, August 2, 2009 at his home. He had been in failing health for the past few months.
He was born December 16, 1926 on the Neosho River to Ada Ellen Garretson and Thomas Jasper Bush.
He was married to Shirley Joyce Page in Arkansas on April 10, 1950.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley in 2001, one infant son and one infant daughter, six brothers, Thomas J. Bush, Wayne R. "Boots" Bush, Henry "Hank" Bush, Robert Bush, Claude and Clyde Bush. Two sisters, Orlean Baker, and Gloria Bush and two great-grandsons.
