Mrs. Elsie C. Abler, 58, of 542 E. Johnson St., who was employed in the office of H. C. Prange Co., died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday at St. Agnes Hospital. Born Feb. 28, 1918, at Johnsburg, she was a daughter of John and Gertrude Karls Daun. She was married to Bernard Abler on Apr! 8, 1837, at Johnsburg. Mrs. Abler is survived by her widower; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Pat) Blazer of Madison and Miss Faye Abler at home; a son, Ronald of Duluth, Minn.; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Peggy Petrie and Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Kuenzi both of Fond du Lac; and her mother of Fond du Lac. Her father preceded her to death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Gerald Schmitz will officiate, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. . Friends of Mrs. Abler may call torn 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
