Mr. V. B. Colley Dead

Word was received here by telephone today that Mr. V. B. Colley of Smiley died this morning at 3 o'clock from apoplexy.

Mr. Colley was in this city Saturday to attend the funeral of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Nora Littleton, and upon returning home that night was stricken and never railied.

Decedent was about 55 years of age, and leaves a wife (née Dora Beach) and three children-two daughters and one son, to mourn the irreparable loss of a husband and father.

Mr. Colley was a prominent citizen of Smiley, being a farmer and real estate agent, and was one of the moving spirits in securing the Gulf Shore railroad through Smiley.

The interment was held at Smiley this afternoon at 4 o'clock.

The Inquirer extends sincere sympathy to the family in this their hour of double bereavement.
