He was born Jan. 4, 1952, in Montana, the son of Paul and Aline (Guilmette) Dandurant.He was educated in Amesbury, Mass., graduating from Amesbury High School, Class of 1970.
Dean served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era.
He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator at Barletta Construction, later at Puma Construction and most recently at Waterline Industries.
Dean had been a soccer and baseball coach for many years in Amesbury.
Survivors include his wife Beverly (Wells) Dandurant of Somersworth; his mother of Amesbury; his children Robert and Brianna, both of Amesbury; four brothers, Timothy, Mark and Philip, all of Amesbury, and Michael of Arizona; three sisters, Donna Tessimond of Hampton Falls, Theresa Harding of Methuen, Mass., and Pauline Bourque of Haverhill, Mass.; stepchildren Sherri Wood and Scott Dame, both of Somersworth; grandson Aaron Wood of Somersworth; and nieces and nephews.
