Dr. William Rope May, a specialist in the diseases of children, died yesterday at his residence, 320 East Seventy-second Street. A graduate of Harvard College in 1894, he received his medical degree at Harvard four years later. He had been an attending physician at the Willard Parker Hospital and the Hospital for Ruptured and Crippled, and consulting pediatrician to the City Hospital. His clubs were the Century and Harvard. He was a member of the American Medical Association and the New York Academy of Medicine.
