DAVID WILLIAM CRISWELL March 23, 1920 - October 8, 1996 David William Criswell, age 76, passed away, Tuesday Oct. 8, 1996. He was born on March 23, 1920 in the New Hope Community of Wayne County. He was the Son of the late William "Bill" Criswell and Belva Dodds Criswell. On January 9, 1939, he Married Mallie Watson , who survives. To this 58 year union, three Children survive: 2 Daughters, Charlene Criswell Farmer and Wanda Faye Criswell Judy and one Son: Kay Criswell, all of Monticello, KY. He is also survived by 2 Sisters: Rosie Chriswell Eaton Allen of Monticello and Fannie Criswell Mullins, of Indianapolis, IN; 6 Grand Children; 8 Great-Grandchildren; 4 Step Grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death is one Grandson, Alan Morrow; one Brother and 3 Half Sisters. He professed his faith in Christ at an early age and joined the Sandusky Chapel Baptist Church. Funeral Services were held on Thursday, Oct 10, 1996 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Brothers Koger Ramsey and Oral H. Denney officating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Hoyt G.
