Nicholas was 5 years old when his mother, Angela Jochum died. After her death, his father, Johann Bach, married Angela's sister, Margarethe Jochum Wolter (Memorial #99466409); which made Margarethe not only Nicholas' aunt, but also his step-mother.
Eva and Nicholas Bach had another daughter, Catherine Bach Futscher born in Mifflin township Aug 14, 1870 and died in Derry, Westmoreland County Aug 2, 1938.
