Galesburg, Apr. 9. —The announcement of the death of Mrs. Henry Mott, at 10:30 on the previous evening, came as a general surprise this morning as, while it was known that she had been in poor health for a considerable period, so sudden a termination was not anticipated. Mrs. Mott was forty-five years of age and is survived by her husband and two daughters. The family at one time were residents near the Lawler school house in Charleston. The funeral will occur on Saturday, at 1:00 p. m., from the home of Wm. Illick, a son-in-law. Burial will be made in the Lawler cemetery. Augusta Beacon April 10, 1914 page 1
