Earl Shepherd of Redlands, born in Hemet, had lived in Redlands for 66 years, died Wednesday of renal failure at Assistencia Villa Convalescent Hospital in Redlands at the age of 88. He was a retired manager of Mayfair Markets where he worked for 40 years and was survived by his two sons, Earl A. and Kenneth, both of Mentone, his brother, Floyd of San Bernardino, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Private services and interment will be be at Montecito Memorial Park with Cortner Chapel in Redlands in charge of the arrangements.
