Frank was born in the Krueger farm home in Winsted Lake Town Ship, Winsted, McLeod County, Minnesota. The farm is located south of Winsted Lake in McLeod County.

In 1901 The Krueger family moved to a 320 acre farm 2 miles south of Cold Spring, Minnesota in Wakefield Town Ship, Stearns County, Minnesota.

Frank attended Stearns County School District #17.

In Sep of 1917 when Frank and Elizabeth were married at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church, St. Nicholas, Stearns County, Minnesota they took over his fathers farm and the senior Krueger's purchased a home in Cold Spring, Minnesota.

Frank was a farmer his entire working career. He had a general farm with about 30 milking cows, some young live stock, 40-45 hogs and 3-400 chickens. The size of the farm had been reduced to 240 acres because Franks older brother Joseph Bernard Krueger had previously purchased 80 acres from his father to build a farm site and farm the 80 acres.

In 1952 on the occasion of his son Gilbert's marriage, Gilbert and his wife Alma (Hommerding) Krueger took over the farm. Frank and Elizabeth built a new 3 bedroom home in Cold Spring and entered total retirement.

His wife Elizabeth died on 31 Jan 1957 and Frank continued to live in the home until he died 01 Dec 1966. Frank and Elizabeth are buried in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Cold Spring, Minnesota.
