DEATH OF GEORGE W. VANSKIKE

George W. Vanskike who lived south of this city (Hunnewell), and who had been sick for some time, lost his mind last week and was taken to the asylum at Fulton, Saturday, Nov. 19th, and on last Friday word was received by his family of his death at Fulton on Nov. 25.
He was born May 15th, 1851, and was 53 years 6 months and 10 days old. He was married to Miss Nannie H. Milam, July 16th, 1878 and to this union were born three children, of whom two are living.
Mr. Vanskike was an excellent gentleman and his sad affliction and death is a great blow to his family and friends, although he had been sick for several months his condition was not considered serious.
His remains were brought back home and interred in the cemetery at Mt. Joy Sunday, afternoon, at 2 p.m. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. F.D. Bezonia, of this city.
He leaves a wife, two children, Mrs. James Kennett, of this city, and J.W. of south of town, and one grandson and other relatives to mourn his death.
