Helen Louise Myers, 72, Ulman, died March 3, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital. She was born Feb. 4, 1927, in Eldon, a daughter of Bert and Margaret Thompson Apperson. She was married Feb 22, 1945, in Olathe, Kan., to James M. Myers, who survives at the home. She was a member of Ulman Christian Church. She worked at various locations in mid-Missouri.

Other survivors include: one son, Jimmy Joe Myers, Ulman; six sisters, Sue Wyrick, Tuscumbia, Pat Ross, Ruth Workman and Kay Haggerman, all of Eldon, Carol Meisel, Jefferson City, and Rose Flora, Tonganixie, Kan.; three brothers, Dave Apperson, Eldon, Bud Kratzer, Sedalia, and Jerry Apperson, Kansas City; two grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Jimmy Kruse and the Rev. Jim McGowin will officiate. Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery, near Iberia. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday. Memorials are suggested to the Ulman Community Center.
