SHREVEPORT, LA - Services celebrating the life of Marion Lucille Davlin Beers will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Delbert Terry of the Nazarene Church of Blanchard. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens North, Blanchard, LA. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Marion was born January 1, 1944 in Belcher, LA and passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Willis-Knighton Bossier after a sudden illness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter and will be missed dearly by family and friends.
Her mother, Katherine, daughter, Shelia, sons, Robert and Little Buddy, and sister, Gwen, preceded Marion in death. She is survived by her husband, John; father, Melvin; sons, Daniel, Melvin, Alan, Joseph and wife, Katie and Bryant and wife, Cathy; daughters, Renee, Donna, Linda, Kathy, Mig and husband, David, Marion Joy and JJ; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Beers, JJ Milles, David Hilton, Eric Merrill, Matt Merrill and Joseph Beers. Jimmie Dickey will serve as honorary pallbearer. Rose-Neath Funeral Home
