She was a life resident of Lawrence and received her education through the Lawrence schools.
Mrs. Roy earned her nursing degree at the Lawrence General Hospital School of Nursing in 1949. She worked there for 30 years.
Members of her family include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Anthony (Ella) Scione, her stepmother, Mrs. Lucy Grossi; stepbrothers, Peter Ciaraldi and Frank Ciaraldi; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arangements were incomplete but will be under the direction of Rosinski Funeral Home, 81 Salem St., Lawrence.
