"Fred T. Erwin, Jr.

Fred T. Erwin, Jr., age 66, of the Lake Travis Hudson Bend area, died Saturday morning in a local hospital.

He was the owner of Fred Erwin TV for more than 30 years in Austin, which was one of the first television services in Austin. He was a member of the Methodist Church, the Better Business Bureau, and a member of the Optimist Club for several years. He was presently employed part time by Northwest Hardware. He was semi-retired and a resident of the Lake Travis Hudson Bend area.

He is survived by one daughter, Jo Ann Erwin Hiebner of Hutto; one son, Fred Erwin, III of Austin; one step-daughter, Diann Brune of Oregon; one sister, Mrs. Glen E. (Dorothy) Lewis of Austin; four grandsons, John and Jay Vaught of Austin, Chip and Chad Erwin of Pflugerville; one granddaughter, Jana Hiebner of Hutto; and two nephews, Glen and Erwin Lewis of Austin.

Funeral services, 2:00 PM, Wednesday at the Austin Peel & Son Funeral Home, with Reverend Murray Johnson officiating. Burial, Austin Memorial Park.

Pallbearers: Powell Hiebner, John Wickham, Chuck Gardner, John Corbin, Paul Bazan and Guy LaBlanc.

Arrangements under the direction of Austin-Peel & Son Funeral Home, 11560 Research Blvd, 343-2133."
