He worked at Fort Sill, OK as a heating and air service technician before he retired. He also worked for Hargrove's Canvas Shop. He was currently working for Securitas Security at Tyson Foods in Arkansas.
Buck was a member of the Moose Lodge in Harrison, AR. He enjoyed going to the Chuckwagon races and going dancing. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Apache.
