Rites for W.A. Ross Are Held at Apache
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Methodist church at Apache for W.A. Ross who died at 9 p.m. Friday in Wesley hospital, Oklahoma City.
Ross suffered a paralytic stroke Monday of last week. He was 68 years old. A native of Alabama, he had lived in Weatherford, Hinton and Apache for many years. He owned a service station in Apache and had the agency for a retail food and medicine company. Mrs. Ross died June 3, 1943.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs., Blake Scott, Mrs. Lee Myers and Miss Lillian Ross, all of Oklahoma City; two sons, Sgt. Ralph Ross, Topeka, Kans., two sisters and three brothers.
Those attending the funeral from here were Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Hackleman, Mr. and Mrs. Will Jones and Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Luper. Mr. Ross is a brother-in-law of Mrs. Hackleman.
