Dr J C Agee Dies Wednesday In Dallas
Dr J C Agee, who lived in Wellington for more than 20 years before moving to Dallas two years ago, died there of a heart attack Wednesday night, Aug 5. He was about 60. Funeral services were conducted at Dallas Friday morning and graveside rites were held at 4 p.m. Friday at Childress Cemetery. Masonic rites were conducted by members of the Wellington Lodge. Dr Agee was a member of the Kiwanis Club here and active in other civic affairs. He was educated at West Texas State College and taught for several years before studying to become a chiropractor. He was married to the former Miss Opal Glover of Childress. Survivors are his wife; three children, Mrs B W Hughey of Houston, Billy Frank Agee of Dallas, and James C Agee of Kilgore. There are three grandchildren.
