SERVICES FRIDAY FOR EX-MAYOR CORN OF SMYRNA
Smyrna Dec 17 Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday for John Dillard Corn who died Wednesday afternoon at his residence. Burial will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery, Atlanta.
A vice president of the Merchant and Farmers Bank, he had served three terms as mayor of Smyrna and 12 years as chairman of the Cobb County Board of Education. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia.
Survivors include his wife, one son John Dillard Corn Jr, one grandson John Dillard Corn III, Five sisters Mrs A J Ritchie of Clayton, Mrs William Hopkins of Decatur, Mrs Tom Telford of Maysville, Mrs Henry Grady Of Birmingham, Four brothers, Dr Ernest Corn of Macon, Dr Charles Corn Of Greenville Sc, Frank Corn of Hiawassee, Leonard Corn of Wayne NC
