She married Ivan M. Douglas in Ava MO on July 30 1932. They lived most of their married life in Mosby, Mo. She was a member of the Mosby Baptist Church since 1932. At the time of her death she was the oldest member of the church. Her life was spent in dedication to her family and church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ivan; her son, J.C. Douglas; 6 brothers; 5 sisters; 2 grandchildren; and a son-in-law.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Nora Mae Edwards and Bob of Ava, Georgia Gillham of Kansas City, and Betty Cazzell of Mosby; 8 grandchildren, Stephen Cazzell and Julie of Mosby, Connie Montagna and Mike of Winchester CA, Kevin Cazzell and Sherry of Lawson, Randy Cazzell and Debbie of Excelsior Springs, Mark Cazzell and Lori of Excelsior Springs, Rick Smith and Kim of Sugarland TX, David Smith and Robyn of Liberty, and Jacinda Walker and David of Ava; 5 step-grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She leaves behind a host of other relatives of friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 24, at Mosby Baptist Church; burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.
