She worked at Pioneer Nursing Home in Melbourne as a kitchen supervisor and was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Gaile Denny of Wideman; four sisters, Emma Duke of Weiner, Virginia McManners of Mt. George, Agnes Exum of Newport, and lona Baker of Leslie; two brothers, Delbert Felton of Zion and Kelsie Felton of Ash Flat; two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a and a brother, Frank Felton.
Funeral services were Monday, April 13, 1992 at 2:00 p.m. in the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Zion with Bro. Bobby Cannon officiating. Burial was in Bear Creek Cemetery near Zion under the directions of Howard Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Pallbearers were Stevie Felton, Gene McManners, Patrick Hembrey, Joey Hembrey, Tony Stunts and Danny McGuire. Honorary pallbearers were Don Tomlinson, Boyce Haley and Harvey Harrison.
