She was born in Bountiful, Utah to Eugene W. and Lillian Bishop Bangerter.
She graduated from Davis High School in 1950. She was an avid gardener and loved plants. She enjoyed traveling, photography and reading. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had great faith in the Savior and loved her son James R. Hancock.
She is survived by her son, James R. Hancock; two sisters, Betty McIlrath and Janice Dean; and one brother, Keith B. Bangerter.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2009 in the Bountiful Memorial Park, 2224 South 200 West, under the direction of Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary.
