Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Bell Dickerson Pagitt, 63, who died suddenly at her home in Poynor Tuesday morning, were held at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon at Poynor with Rev. C.H. Simpson of Frankston conducting the services. Pallbearers were sons-in-law of the deceased.
Mrs. Pagitt was a resident of Poynor for forty years.
Surviving are her husband, R.R. Pagitt; three sons, Farris and J.W. Dickerson of Poynor and Jack Dickerson of Frankston; six daughters, Mrs. W.F. Kitchens of Poynor, Mrs. George Perry of Frankston, Mrs. D.W. Allen of Vinton, La., Mrs. E.M. Fears of Brenham, Mrs. C.C. Coats of Iowa park and Mrs. Eula May Dickson of Poynor; six step-sons, Willie, Stafford, Rayford and Charlie Pagitt of Poynor, Ed Pagitt of Rio Grande City and Farris Pagitt of Vinton, La.; a step-daughter, Miss Virginia Pagitt of Poynor; three brothers, Watt Cowan of California, Sam Cowan of Grandview and Hogan Cowan of Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Hightower of Cleburne, Mrs. Addie Keys of Dallas and Mrs. Bessie Hooper of Grandview; twenty-one grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
