Jerry Gebhart (an adopted son of Mrs. Jane Doop, who now resides in Cherryvale, died very suddenly about 8 o'clock last Sunday evening, on E. P. Todd's farm. He had not been feeling well for the past few days, and sat in his chair and visited with his neighbors late in the afternoon. A young wife and five little children are left to mourn his death. His remains were laid to rest in the Harmony cemetery.
