Eli was born and raised in Tobinsport. He was married to Ruth and had a son, Ernest Weatherholt of Cannelton.

Brother of Mrs. Nina Anspach of New Jersey and Turner Weatherholt of California. His was preceded in death by a son, Earl.

His first wife was Willa Polk and his second wife was Ruth Frank.

Eli Huston Weatherholt, 82 years of age, father of Ernest Weatherholt, Cannelton, assistant secretary of state, died Monday morning at Patronville. (Spencer Co., IN)

Mr. Weatherholt had been ill for four years and bedfast about a year.

He was a farmer, born and reared at Tobinsport where he spent the greater part of his life.

In addition to the son, a wife Ruth, a granddaughter, Mrs. Charles Myers of Denver, Colo. survive, a great-grandchild, a sister, Mrs. Nina Anspach of Newark, J.J. and a brother, Turner Weatherholt of Los Angeles, Calif. A son Earl died many years ago.

Funeral services will be held this (Wednesday) morning at nine o'clock at the Boultinghouse funeral home in Rockport, the Rev.Father Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Shiloh cemetery. (Reo, Spencer Co., IN)
