Mickey Cherrill (Pearce) Holliday, 86, died Wednesday, June 11, 2009, in Springerville. She was born July 12, 1922, in Taylor to Jesse Harvey Pearce and Ellen Pearl Standiford.
Mickey was a housewife. She loved to cook and loved serving others. She had a great love for her children and grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her son, Robert Larry (Carolyn) Holliday, Luna, N.M.; daughters Cheryl (Doyle) Mills, Show Low; Darlene (Larry) Nicoll, Eagar; daughter-in-law Joey Holliday, Blanding, Utah; sisters Pat Post, Chandler; Ellen Butler, Gardinia, Calif.; sister-in-law Carol Pearce, Payson; 18 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons Gerald Franklin Holliday and Gary Clyde Holliday, grandson Gary Wayne Holliday and six brothers and sisters.
A Viewing was held Sunday, June 14, at Burnham Mortuary of Eagar with funeral services Monday, June 15, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stake Center in Eagar.
Interment followed at the Taylor City Cemetery.
