Services Wednesday For Miss Brown, 71
Services for Anas Renia Brown, long-time resident of the Carnegie community, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Thompson funeral home at Anadarko. Rev. Beckett, pastor of the Christian church, will preach the sermon and burial will be in the Apache cemetery.
Miss Brown was born in Crawford county, Ark., Oct. 23, 1874, died March 11, aged 71 years, 4 months, and 18 days. She moved with her parents to the Indian Territory near Muskogee when a very young girl and later moved near Shawnee.
After living there a number of years she moved to Carnegie and lived in and near here for 35 years. For the past year she has made her home in Anadarko. She became a member of the Christian church early in life and held to that faith until her death.
She is survived by two brothers, John and Bailey Brown of Carnegie.
