Sent to Camp Sherman, Ohio; assigned to Company A, 2nd Training Battalion, 158th Depot Brigade. Died of pneumonia October 6, 1918, Camp Sherman, Ohio. Buried in the LO.O.F. Cemetery, Jamestown, Ind. Survived by widow, Mary E. Airhart, Danville, Ind.
