Mrs. Hobbs Dies of pneumonia
Brookhaven,Miss, Jan 26
Mrs. Paul M.Hobbs,formerly Mrs. Kate Higdon, died at 9 o'clock Sunday night of pneumonia following influenza. Besides her husband she leaves two small children.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Monday. The deceased was a niece of W.W.Holliday of New Orleans. The Columbian regrets to note the above dispatch from Brookhaven, the deceased having been the wife of the Editor of the Brookhaven Leader, whom we have known and esteemed for a number of years, and for whom The Columbian Editor worked several years ago.
