HENRY S. AMALONG

Henry S. Amalong, 78, of Greensburg, died Thursday, April 8, 1993, in Westmoreland Hospital. He was born Dec. 22, 1914, in Salem Township, a son of the late Paul H. and Ethel Wolfe Amalong. He was a retired president of Wilson and Co., first in Greensburg and then in Oklahoma City, Okla., with 42 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the First Reformed United Church of Christ, Greensburg, where he was a member and past president of the church consistory. He is survived by his wife, Louise Johnson Amalong; two sons, Thomas H. of Baltimore, Md., and Bill Amalong of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one daughter, Mrs. Guy (Aleta) Wojtaszek of Woodbridge, Ill; three grandchildren, Kyle and Lucy Wojtaszek of Woodbridge, Ill. and John William Amalong; and one brother, Burrell Amalong of Latrobe. Friends will be received at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will take place Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Pastor Edwin J., Fromm officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the First Reformed United Church of Christ, Maple Avenue and Third Street, Greensburg, Pa. 15601.
