James P. Mangan

James P. Mangan, 67, of 38 Perry Road, Lambertville, died Saturday in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington.

A World War II Army veteran, he was a retired bridge police officer for the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission, New Hope, Pa.

Mr. Mangan is survived by his wife, Ruth Haw Mangan; two sons, Richard J. Mangan of New Hope and William A. Mangan of Lambertville; a daughter, Ruth E. Gray of Chelmsford, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Mangan Bair of Lambertville; and three grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. John's the Evangelist Church, Lambertville.

There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the Lambertville Ambulance and Rescue Squad Association or the Lambertville Public Library.

Arrangements are under the direction of Van Horn Funeral Home, 21 York St., Lambertville.
