Albert M. Beavers Funeral Services Held Here June 2

Funeral services for Albert M. Beavers. 88, were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 2. 1995 in the First Baptist Church of Apache with the Rev. A. L. Swagerty, director of Caddo County Baptist Association, officiating, and assisted by the Rev. Doyle Wilburn. pastor.

Beavers died May 31, 1995 in a Lawton hospital after a short illness.

He was born September 18, 1906 in Duncan, Indian Territory and married Pearl Cheek on August 2, 1930 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Beavers farmed in the Apache area all his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl, of the home; one son, Jim Beavers of Lawton; one daughter, Betty Wilson of Apache; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one sister, Leola Dixon of Anadarko; three brothers, Irven Beavers of Apache, and Leonard and Ralph Beavers, both of Lawton.

Burial was in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.
