ADKINS, MASTER SERGEANT KEITH A. - age 57 of Maynardville, passed away 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at UT Medical Center. He was a member of Millers Chapel Methodist Church and was a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force, a Viet Nam veteran. He was a retired employee of the United States Postal Service. Preceded in death by father, Rev. Kelley Adkins. Survived by wife, Lynn Adkins daughter, Carrie Tolliver mother, Ruby Owen Adkins all of Maynardville brothers, Ralph Adkins of Nashville sister in law, Kitie and husband, Don Jenes, Judy and husband, Wayne Henderson brother in law, Steve and wife, Millie Widner aunts, Janice Herrell and Dale Murphy all of Knoxville and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday with Masonic service at 8 p.m. and funeral service following in Ailor Chapel, Rev. Jimmy Davidson Rev. Irby Russell and Rev. Rodney Widner officiating. After funeral service, full military honors will be presented by Robbins Air Force Base Honor Guard, Robbins, Ga. held at the mortuary. Mr. Adkins requested that his body be cremated.
