GRANDDAUGHTER OF LOCAL COUPLE WED AT SUNNYSIDE

In a wedding of wide interest to Goldendale residents, Miss Genevieve Hamilton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hamilton of Goldendale, was married to Millerd Amundson, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Amundson, of Sunnyside. The wedding was held Sunday afternoon at the bride's parents' home in Sunnyside.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Percy Hammond, pastor of the Methodist church, beneath an archway of flowers.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white slipper satin wedding gown made floor length with full skirt. Her veil was caught to her head with orange blossoms, and her bouquet was of white rosebuds.

At the reception which followed the ceremony, Mrs. Harry Searles, sister of the bridegroom from Walla Walla, poured. Mrs. Van Baldwin, a sorority sister of the bride from Bonneville, Oregon, and Mrs. Ross Haney served and assistants included Miss Charlotte Miller, Miss Gretchen Hall, Miss Margaret Brown, Miss Jessie Brown and Miss Harriet Crooks of Goldendale.

Those from Goldendale who attended the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. O.L. Hamilton, and daughters Mabel and Margaret and son Gerald; Alex Hamilton, Mrs. C.E. Crooks, Joe Jobe, Miss Harriet Crooks, Mrs. Minnie Watson, and Mrs. Walter F. Hamilton.
