The death of Peter G. Beshara of 5 Broccoli Street, Scarborough, Ont., formerly of Saint John, occurred at his residence Wednesday.

Born in Saint John, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mary (McCausland) Beshara. He had lived in Scarborough for the past 15 years. Prior to that he lived in Saint John where he was employed at McAvity's Crane of Canada Ltd., and Saint John Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Co. Ltd. He had been a longshoreman. He is survived by his wife, the former Lois Ferris; five sons, Peter, Charles, Thomas, John and David, all of Saint John; four daughters, Linda (Mrs. Paul Beckingham); Dianne and Sharon, all of Saint John, and Shirley, (Mrs. John McKinnon), Oshawa, Ont.; three brothers, Wayne, Christopher and James, all of Saint John; five sisters, Patricia (Mrs. Jack White); Joan (Mrs. James Power); Marjorie (Mrs. John Kaschuk), and Shirley, (Mrs. Joseph Sharek), Toronto, Ont.; and Margaret (Mrs. Frank Coady), Dartmouth, N.S.; nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The body will be resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, from where the funeral will be held to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for funeral mass. Interment will take place in Saint Joseph's Cemetery.
