RITES HELD TUESDAY FOR MRS. FRANK L. SHUCK
Funeral services were conducted in the St. John's Catholic church here Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock for Mrs. Frank L. Shuck, whose death occurred suddenly early Saturday morning.
The rites were in charge of the Rev. Fr. P. J. Leahy, with the services directed by the Childs Funeral home. Interment was made in the St. John's cemetery northwest of Hoisington.
Casket bearers who served during the rites were William Penka, Leo Myeres, Mark Schartz, Clem Penka, Wm. Schartz, Victor Penka.
Mrs. Shuck was born October 31, 1890, Barbara Elenor Meyeres, and was widely known in the community. She had resided for many years on the farm four miles northeast of this city. Her death was an extreme shock to her many friends and relatives and her passing will be deeply mourned.
In addition to her husband she is survived by four brothers and five sisters.
The brothers are: P. J. Meyeres, Odin John Meyeres, Hosington; Jake Meyeres, Pittsburg: and Joseph Meyeres, Gt. Bend. The sisters: Mrs. Lambert (Susan) Kultgen: Mrs. Jake (Mary) Depiesse, and Mrs. Wm. (Ann) Penka all of Beaver, Kansas. Mrs. John (Kate) Kultgen, Great Bend, and Mrs. N. J. (Margaret) Schartz, Ellinwood.
