Longtime Sterling resident Inez Brewer, 90, died Sunday at her 404 Elwood St. residence.
Recitation of rosary is 7 p.m. Thursday at Chaney-Walters Funer al Home with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday at St. An thony's Catholic Church with Rev. Leo Blach officiating.
Burial is at Riverside Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 1, 1900, in Kansas City, Mo., to Howard and Anna (Bardsley) Brown. Mrs.Brewer attended schools in Hardin and Sterling.
She graduated from Logan County High School in 1918.
Mrs. Brewer worked as a book keeper for Platte Valley Lumber Co. and was an avid bridge player, be longing to several card clubs over the years.
She was also a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, St. Margaret's Circle, VFW Auxiliary, and was a past president and hon orary member of the Quota Club.
On Aug. 15, 1942, she married Charles Brewer in Sidney, Neb. He died July 17, 1979.
Mrs. Brewer is survived by two nephews, including William Truitt of Sterling; two nieces, nine grand nieces and nephews, and 17 great grand nieces and nephews.
Chancy-Walters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
