Marjorie Miller Lindsay, 91, Bonaparte, died Saturday, February 11, 1989 at the West Point Care Center. She had been ill five weeks.
Mrs. Lindsay was born December 23, 1897 at Bonaparte and was a lifelong resident of the Bonaparte area. She was a member of the Bonaparte First Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher.
On October 12, 1921 at Ottumwa, she was married to Dr. Samuel G. Lindsay, who died October 8, 1965.
Surviving are three daughters, Martha C. Lindsay, Iowa City, Shirley M. Strieber, Tucson, Arizona and Audrey M. Lindsay, Fort Madison; a sister, Faye Dawson, Bonaparte; a grandchild, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Her parents were Elisha E. and Martha Ryland Miller.
Services were held Wednesday, February 15, 1989 at the Bonaparte First Baptist Church. Bob Dodds officiated. Burial was in White Cemetery, Bonaparte.
