Mrs. Gordon Davies was injured fatally Sunday night in a one-car accident about 33 miles north of Malta. Mrs. Davies, the driver lost control of the 1956 automobile on a soft shoulder about 10 p.m. She had managed to get the car back on the road when it skidded and rolled over four times. Her husband and brother-in-law, Norman Dyrdahl, were injured, but apparently not seriously. A passing farmer brought all three to a Malta hospital, but Mrs. Davies was dead on arrival. Mrs. Davies had three children, ages 9 to 13.

Malta--Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Davies, 23-year-old mother of three children and an employee of the local bank, were held at the Lutheran church. Mrs. Davies died Sunday night on the Loring road about 33 miles north of Malta.
Born in Malta on Nov. 5, 1921, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Coons, she was a graduate of Loring High School and attended business college in Great Falls. She was married to Gordon Wesley Davies in Great Falls on Aug. 11, 1942. Before moving back to Malta, Mrs. Davies was employed at Strain's and Buttrey's in Great Falls.
Survivors in addition to her husband are sons, Ricky, 13, and Roger, 12, daughter, Linda, 9; her father, R.D. Coons of Belt; brothers, Donald of Shelby, Wesley and Kenneth, both of Great Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Shirley Nygard of Sells, Ariz., Mrs. Rose Drydahl of Loring.
