CONCORDIA - Mrs. Edith Zimmerman, 71, died Monday after long illness at the Walno Nursing Home, Concordia.
She was born Feb. 26, 1886, in Franklin County, Iowa.
A patient at the nursing home for two years, she formerly lived with her sister, Mrs. Florence Swaringer, Concordia.
She was a member of the Jamestown Methodist Church.
She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Griffeth, Pasadena, Calif.; Mrs. Florence Swaringer, Concordia; Mrs. Eulalia Ouellette, Jamestown; Mrs. Margaretta Tholstrup. Woodbine, seven nephews and four nieces.
Services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 am in the First Methodist church, Jamestown, the Rev. Nina Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Blachly Funeral Home, Jamestown.
