Largent, 92, formerly of Abilene, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000, at Manhattan; born June 17, 1908, in Winona, the daughter of A.W. and Jessie Bird Dick; married Ernest Largent on June 16, 1938, at Burr Oak; he died Jan. 13, 1997; also was preceded in death by a daughter, Bernadine Swedberg, and a grandson, Douglas Swedberg; survived by a daughter, Ernestine Brown, Manhattan; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren; burial in Abilene Cemetery (abstract Topeka Capital Journal)
