OBITUARY - Pharos-Tribune, Logansport (IN) - June 17, 1953

PERU June 17--Mrs. Leo Hipskind, 66, died of a cerebral hemorrage at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday at her residence, 404 West Sixth street.

Born April 8, 1887, in Lagro, she was the daughter of John and Mary Elizabeth (Allison) Enyeart. She was married to Leo Hipskind in Wabash on Nov. 6, 1907.

The deceased was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church, the Rosary Society, and the D. of I.

Survivors include: the husband, one daughter, Mrs. John Enyeart, Middleville, Mich.: three brothers, Frank, Lafountaine; Curtis, Lagro, and Lawrence, Peru. Four brothers preceded her in death.

Final rites will be conducted at the St. Charles Church at 9 a.m. Friday with Msgr. Paul Welch officiating. The Rosary Society and the D. of I. will conduct services at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Brookman Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday. #Internment will be made in Falls cemetery at Wabash.
