MRS. RAY FUNERAL HELD AT LETITIA CHURCH SATURDAY - Mrs. Minnie Mae Ray, 54, wife of William M. Ray, well known farmer residing 10 1/2 miles southeast of the city, died at the farm home Friday morning following an illness of three weeks.
Mrs. Ray was born near Purdy, Okla., June 18,1880. She was married to Ray in October, 1899 at Mansville, Okla., and came to Comanche county in 1915 from Johnson County, residing here since.
In early life she united with a Methodist church and has lived a consistent Christian life. At the time of her death she was a member of the Hulen Methodist Church. She was of a quiet demeaner but had a host of close friends who sympathize with the members of her family in her death.

She also is survived by 10 grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Etta Caraway of Ravia, Okla., and his [her]brothers, Wesley, John and Owen Norton of Rush Springs; Minos Norton of Mansville and Sam Norton of Ravia, and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at the Letitia Baptist church Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lawrence Browa (sic), pastor of the Hulen Methodist church, officiating, and was largely attended and the floral offerings were beautiful.
