Katherine Ray - GERONIMO - Funeral for Katherine Ray, 85, Geronimo, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church, Geronimo, with the Rev. Darin M. Powers, interim pastor, officiating.
Mrs. Ray died Sunday at her home.
Burial will be in Letitia Cemetery, east of Lawton, under direction of Becker Funeral Home, Lawton.
She was born Oct. 13, 1912, east of Geronimo. She married A.L. "Dan" Ray on Oct. 13, 1933, in Lawton. He died Nov. 5, 1974. She grew up and lived most of her life in the Hulen and Geronimo areas. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Hulen Methodist Church, and had attended First Baptist Church in Geronimo for several years, She was also a member of Geronimo Good Neighbors Group.
Survivors include five sons: Paul, Midwest City; John, San Antonio; Henry, Cache; David, Chickasha; and Robert, Edmond; two daughters: Otha Elkins, Lawton, and Lola McCuiston, Geronimo; a sister, Christine Knott, Pryor, 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
