Gerald Therian Ueland of Lakeland loving husband, father & FABULOUS grandfather passed away unexpectedly on September 27, 2007. Gerald was a member of the US Air Force and proudly served in Vietnam. He was also a member of the Teamsters 120. He was preceded in death by; parents, Kermit and Ursula Ueland; father in law, Edgar Martin; sister in law, Diane Ueland; loving infant daughter, Marcey; granddaughter, Madisen Allivia Rose Johnson; and special family friend, Debbie Hackler. He is survived by; wife and best friend of 42 years, Rose; daughters, Christie (Jim) Forciea, Michelle (Doug) Peterson & Julie (Joel) Johnson; sons, David Hackler & Sgt "BJ" Benjamin Ueland; mother in law, Marge Martin; grandchildren, Shane (his right hand man), Hayley, Cody, Brandan, Emalee, Ben, William & Brady; brothers, Gordon, Tom (Karen) & Al Ueland; sisters Barb (Jim) Cantin & Colleen (Craig) Fiandaca; brother in law, Garry (Roxy) Martin; sister in law, Marcey (Dale) Olson & many nieces, nephews and friends. Jerry (Jer) will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.
Visitation will be Monday, October 1st at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lakeland, MN from 5-8pm with prayer service at 7:45pm. Service will be Tuesday, October 2nd at 11am with visit 1 hr prior. Burial will follow at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Stillwater, MN. The O'Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson assisted the family with arrangements.
