Age 81, Dies
At Portland
POMEROY - Mrs. Lena Durst, 81, died about noon Wednesday at the home of a son, Sidney Durst, at Portland.
Mr. Durst was born on March 3, 1872 at Jackson County, W.Va. She was a member of the Stiversville Methodist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Eber Carpenter, Stiversville; Mrs. Joe Circle, Racine; Mrs. Zetta Boyd, Parkersburg, W.Va.; three sons, Sidney, Portland; Robert, Stiversville, and Ruda, Stiversville, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Click, Cottageville, W.Va. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her husband Henry Durst preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Stiversville Methodist Church with burial to be in the Stiversville Cemetery.
